Casual Thursday.

1940's fabric covered pigtails :)
1950's cat eye glasses
1950's cashmere "t-shirt" (Thrifted)
1940's knit belt (belt from a Thrifted dress)
1970's blue & cream high waisted mom shorts (Goodwill)
Blue tennis shoes (U.O.)

It has to be said, that this fabric covered pigtails idea is the best one I've had in a while!  Obviously this has been done before, but seriously, let me feel cool for just a minute, geez.  :)  As for the outfit, it definitely is not the most flattering on film, but in my mind it looks awesome.  Does anyone out there read the "Man Repeller" blog (you should, btw)?  Haha, eh, good thing I don't have to worry about any of that...thanks Jimmy!

Okay, this top is super soft, and probably a million times thicker than any right minded person in the summer should wear.  But I have shoes that match, so it had to be done.  And it's cashmere, and I got it for a dollar, should I keep going?  Lol.

It should be said that I have been listening to 'Hunx & his Punx', and watching John Waters movies WAY TOO MUCH.  It is impossible for me to watch Cry Baby without 1. running to my closet, or 2. surfing Ebay for 4 hours looking for the perfect fitting 50's wiggle dress.  To anyone that saw John at Bonnaroo..  I envy you with heat of a thousand suns, and I hope his outfit was glorious.

Have a good Thursday,

Ally
