1990's Cropped Flecked & Striped Sweater (Goodwill, $4)
Turquoise & Sage Two Toned Circle Skirt (Made by Me, $5)
Blue Tennies

Hey!  This is one of two circle skirts I made the other night.  I'm in love with the idea of a 2-tone skirt.  This particular one is Turquoise on the outside, and Sage on the inside.  It's made out of a light cotton- which definitely would need to be doubled, so it works out well.  Pretty sure you're going to be seeing a lot of these in the coming weeks :).

I went out a couple days ago looking for sweaters for the store- which seem to be the hardest thing ever to find!  Luckily, I found this 1990's lightweight cropped sweater.  It basically turned into my favorite sweater the minute I slipped it over my head.  It is sooooo comfortable.  Ahhh.  It's hard to tell in the photos, but it's flecked with all different colored threads.

Last night, my friend Lindsay and I dried a TON of herbs from her garden in my dehydrator.  She also surprised me with sunflowers that we de-seeded and threw in!  So pumped!  I had never actually dried my own sunflower seeds directly from the flower, and it is driving me nuts that I didn't take any freaking pictures!  But, take my word for it, they are so delicious, even soft.  Anywho, she also gave me a bunch of fresh basil, which I made into pesto this morning before work.
 Here is my recipe:

1 1/2 c. Basil
1/2 c. Raw Pumpkin seeds
1/2 c. Raw Almonds
1/3 c. Sunflower Oil (all I had)
Half of a Lime (Juiced)
5 Garlic Cloves
S/P to taste
1/3 c. Nooch (nutritional yeast- please god don't use regular yeast...)

Yum.  I slabbed it on some ezekiel bread, added carrot sticks & baby spinach...  and there you have it!  Lunch!

After we got our herbs into the 'excalibur', we headed outside to their fire pit and enjoyed some wine :).  Good night!  My hair still smells like fire, which is awesome.  I've decided to start a Custom Circle Skirt company on Etsy.  I'll keep you updated!!!

This year I've decided to participate in 'No Buy Christmas', wherein I'll be making all of my gifts.  I'm pumped.  I already have a sheet of paper filled up with ideas- now I just need to zero in on each person, and start working!  I know it probably seems a little early to start thinking about Christmas gifts, but I HATE feeling rushed, and I'm taking on a lot of projects, so an early start seems smart!

I don't think I need to go into my schbeal about my love for the 90's.  :).  So, I'll just leave you with this fantastic video I found the other day of an 'X Girl' fashion show.
