Mothman T-Shirt DIY'd into Tank (Point Pleasant, WV $12?)
1970's Bellbottoms (Ebay)
Sea Foam Tennies
1 Sad, dead skateboard.
Ah, casual days. Finally found my mothman shirt! Hooray! Jimmy's grandparents still live there, in Point Pleasant (awesome, huh?). So, when we were there, we hit all the tourist shops/museums/etc. There is also a giant bronze-y mothman statue in the middle of their "downtown". I loved the movie, and it seriously scared me the first time I saw it (which doesn't happen too often). Anyway, Jimmy's parents grew up in the area and remember the bridge falling/losing classmates/etc. It was a creepy little town after dark!
(If you aren't familiar, a movie was made about Point Pleasant, WV called "Mothman Prophecies".)
A friend with an awesome garden gave a bushel of lettuces & herbs last night while we were at their bonfire. Unfortunately, I accidentally added the mint into my savory lunch salad. Not. Good. Bleh.
And here is my sad little skateboard, RIP. It was given to me in middle school by the person who taught me- and it's the only one I've ever owned. Sadly, it is beyond it's time, and must be retired. Skateboards are EXPENSIVE people! If I could get one for $50, I would be fine with spending that amount, but $120? Dang. I know it isn't a ton of money, but just enough to have to save up for. So, if you are reading this and have one that you don't use anymore/don't want, send me a message! I'll meet up with you, or will pay shipping! :)
Ahhh- best morning ever. I opened an email from my library, and "Bossypants" is being held for me! Happy day! I've been waiting about 2 months for it to be available, so, needless to say, I'm pumped :). It's Tina Fay's new book, and I'm sure it will be worth the wait :). Yesterday, I decided to check out some RTW 2012 F/W, and thought I'd share some of my favorites with ya. ally.
(Vivienne Westwood- that fabric is amazing)
(Comme Des Garcon- the top pic is my favorite look of the season.)
(Erin Fetherston- Only look I enjoyed- she generally bores me. But like this one alot!)
(awesome, awesome skirt)
(Jeremy Scott-the last five)
